The Rare Cask Series is a celebration of Tasmanian whisky both rich in character and heavy with history. It’s an endless pursuit of the abandoned exceptional — combing countries for casks both rare and remarkable.
It’s an exploration of evolution — of new life blossoming within the old, in extraordinary, unmatchable ways. A pursuit for the extraordinary realised through unearthing some of the world’s most rare and storied casks.
The resulting expressions are unique single malt celebrations of character, culture and the particular casks in which they are finished.

1911 PARA
VINTAGE TAWNY
This exceptional Single Malt Whisky is finished in a single barrel that recently held Centennial Collection Tawny, preserving a precious parcel from the 1911 vintage.
The result is a rich and complex whisky that dances on the senses. From toffee and aged oak combined with fresh floral pear and a touch of chocolate orange on the nose, to rich fruit cake and caramel, with hints of blackcurrant and developing lychee on the palate.
The historic Seppeltsfield Winery Centennial Cellar, known as the ‘jewel in the crown’ has nurtured these barrels since Oscar Benno Seppelt first conceived them in 1878, making this the longest unbroken line of single vintage wines in the world. There has been a barrel laid down every year ever since, just as this whisky has been designed, to be cherished for years to come.
DARK LARK SINGLE MALT WHISKY
Inspired by the awe of the Tasmanian skies, the Aurora Australis becomes your canvas for an extraordinary, After Dark Single Malt. Taste the unexpected, an ultra-smooth, expression from LARK; bright honeycomb, light spiced oak and caramelised pineapple. Made to share.
NOSE
Creamy chocolate with biscotti and subtle kola nut rounding out the event.
PALATE
Rich fruit cake and caramel on arrival, with hints of blackcurrant and developing lychee.
FINISH
Complex old oak and toffee combine with fresh pear and a touch of chocolate orange.
